The Proper Eats and Drinks

Just finished the double breaded veal cutlets this is my go to meal when it’s my first time eating at a restaurant. I think it’s been over 10 years since I’ve had Veal this good. While waiting for my food they brought chips and Salsa the Salsa is made in house and it was very good.

Our new favourite place to eat. Food is always good. And, the friendly staffs make it even better.UPDATE: Dec. 8, 2018Went for supper with my hubby and we both had the Saturday Night’s Prime Rib special for the second time. We waited for over an hour on that first Saturday we came in but the Prime Rib we had that time was absolutely worth the wait. So, that long wait was no biggie. Tonight, we waited for only 20 minutes roughly. The Prime Rib I had was on the cold side. Everything was hot, the mashed potato and veggies BUT not the prime rib. I ate the thinner sides, dipped it into the mashed potato to get it a little warmer (weird, I know but I’m so tired and hungry 😀). When I get to the thicker part of the Prime Rib, nope, can’t do it. It’s even colder steak. My husband’s prime rib was just fine.

The food is amazing, and I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend eating there try the prime rib yummm.

Its an ok place to eat as long as you don't need to eat on a Sunday. Reminds me of the rest of the world 40 years ago when nothing was open on Sunday, or Lloydminster current day!

I have never had a bad meal here always amazing and the service is great.

Great food and good service

We recently ate in and every single thing was great. Clean, great service, best burger in Lloyd. The onion rings aren't my favourite, but they're definitely hand made. Recently we got takeout and somehow the burgers and fries were still great even after an hour's travel. The staff was a little rude when we picked up, and the parking situation is terrible, but frankly nothing is going to turn me off of the food here.

Average food, average service, average prices. Nothing really stands out here, except the interior is new and clean

Good food and good service and excellent prices

Absolutely loved the new environment. Service was on the ball & the food was nothing short of incredible. We had the shaking steak bites, the short rib, and a bacon cheese burger. Everything came out quickly, cooked perfectly and tasted heavenly. Recommending The Proper to all my friends and excited to come and enjoy the rest of the menu!

Fantastic food. Definitely worth the extra time to find parking

Have ate here a few time as a couple and as a group. We had a group of 8, the server was nice, the food came out quickly and cooked perfectly, everything was great. We have tried several things on the menu, all have been amazing. We have also had drinks that were well made. Highly recommend for date night, for groups and for drinks

Great place to eat, food always hot and fresh! One of the only places in lloyd that serves salmon that doesnt taste "fishy!.Girls come around 3 or 4 times while eating to check on you! If your looking for good food and a nice atmosphere its the place to go!

The BBQ burger was amazing! I was full for a while... It was like maybe an HOUR at a half. I can't wait to eat here again!!! 🍔

Excellent food and service with a nice environment

Stopped in for a random dinner while on the road for the night during late January. Ordered the BBQ beef ribs with broccoli and mashed potatoes, and promptly had my mind blown!!! The broc was perfectly steamed. The ribs were falling off the bone and beautifully crispy on the outside with a really tasty sauce. The mashed potatoes, which I assumed would be basic, regular side dish staple, could have been served all on their own! They were seriously the best potatoes I've ever eaten.If I was considering moving to the area, I would feel that The Proper is so good that it raises property values in the area.

Good was good. Temperature in the restaurant is not controlled well. It was -5 out and you needed a cost to keep warm inside.

Been here a few times now and just had to leave a review! Absolutely awesome! I had the steak, burgers and some of the best I've had! Had the 12oz ribeye steak tonight! Awesome! and cant beat the price! Paid a lot more at sawmill for an inferior steak! The Proper rocks!

Great food and portion sizes! Walked away stuffed and really satisfied with the experience. Waitress was professional and friendly. The chef/owner really knows how to cook!

The Proper obviously cares about their customers and what they think, and that gets an extra star! Stop in at this little gem and make sure you take a look at the menu, there are no wrong choices.

Had lunch here a few weeks back, not from the area so didn't know what to expect but it's safe to say this is where I'll be eating every time I come to Lloydminster now. Amazing beef rib, I'd like to try the rest of the menu too but it was so good I probably will get it a few more times first. Great service, great food, prices lower than I expected, I highly recommend it.

Excellent food, great service, very nice restaurant

I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and it’s the best I’ve ever had. (and I’ve tried a lot of places). It is a very generous amount, reasonably priced and tastes delicious.
